Brand Story

Forest permanence. Golden afternoon light. The warmth of ivory paper. Every colour in the system was pulled from the land itself — not chosen, discovered.

Syne for the headline moments. Space Grotesk for everything that needs to breathe. The typography doesn't announce itself. It just feels right.

Dhana

Brand Brief

Wanderlust Estates doesn't sell properties. It sells the feeling you get when you step onto a veranda at sunrise, the Indian Ocean laid out in front of you, and realise you never want to leave.

The brief was simple: build a digital home worthy of that feeling.

Undani

Brand in the Details

The hover states are unhurried. The cards feel like they have weight.

Every spacing decision was made with one question: does this feel like a place you'd want to spend time?

Muundo

Platform Architecture

Under the warmth: a NestJS API, a Next.js front-end, PostgreSQL doing the heavy lifting, and search that actually works. Built to carry the weight of the brand without ever showing the effort.

Matokeo

Outcome

It launched. People stayed.

The average session is long — the kind of long that only happens when someone is genuinely lost in something beautiful.

That's the metric that matters.

What I'd evolve

Personalised itinerary builder. Richer editorial content layered into the listings. The bones are there — this is a platform you can keep pouring into.

The Philosophy

The best digital experiences don't feel like websites. They feel like places.

Wanderlust Estates was built to be a place.
